As 2022 draws to a close, we often reflect on the year’s achievements, goals and challenges. You’ve probably had many end-of-year round-ups from newsletters you’re subscribed to.

I would like to invite you to read a recent interview with Luen Thompson, CEO at Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, who reflected on the organisational changes and developments the hospice has undergone over the past few years.

The importance of culture, diversity and togetherness stood out. In a hospice setting, so much work is done outside of the hospice – to the benefit of service users. This is enabled through strategic partnerships, a positive work culture, the development of new services as well as income generation, which we discussed.

I hope you find these insights inspiring in your own work. Thanks to everyone who has contributed this year to our publication which continues to grow into the new year.
